Qascom had a key role in the development of the authentication part of Galileo, the European alternative to the GPS, participating throughout the whole process, from reserach to develompent, of satellite signals.
Qascom has developed a customization of the GPS and Galileo receiver that has allowed to use it succesfully on rockets, satellites and on the International Space Station. In 2024, the receiver will be used in NASA's space mission and will land on the Moon's surface.
The company is specialized in the development of security testbeds and Radio Frequency Constellation Simulators capable to simulate GPS, Galileo, GLONASS and SBAS signals, designed with a specific focus to test threats and cybersecurity attacks, using Software Defined Radio approaches.
We have recently begun collaborating with various defence industries to create a Security Operation Center focused on signal intelligence, especially on GNSS threats and attacks.
